Blog#1 Fighting for Children's safety


The 2025 National Children’s Month Celebration with the theme “OSAEC-CSAEM Wakasan: Kaligtasan at Karapatan ng Bata, Ipaglaban!” really give an important message to everyone. In our time today, many kids are using internet and not all of them is safe. Some bad people take advantage and do bad things to children online. This celebration remind us that we must protect every child from those danger and never ignore the small signs of abuse.



For me, I can say that the government are doing effort to keep children safe. They have laws and program that focus on protecting children from abuse and online harm. The DSWD and DICT also help in spreading awareness about OSAEC and CSAEM, which is really good. But still, there are some people who don’t follow the rules and that’s why more action and support is needed.



Also, parents and teachers should always guide their kids because they are the first protector. Children must know how to be safe online and not just trust anyone they talk to. Community must also help by reporting cases and not be afraid to speak up. If we all work together, we can make our country a better and safer place for every child who dreams big.


In the end, this celebration is a reminder that every child deserve love, respect, and protection. Their rights should not be taken for granted. Ending online abuse is not easy, but it will start from awareness, teamwork, and care from everyone.
