Discovering the Beauty and Story of Bantay Bell Tower, San Agustin Church, and Terraza Pool


Philippines is full of beautiful places, but some stand out because of their history, culture and relaxing vibe. Three of this amazing places are Bantay Bell Tower in Ilocos Sur, San Agustin Church and Terraza Pool. Each of them have their own story and reasons why many people love to visit.



Bantay Bell Tower was built way back in 1591 and it was used as a watchtower during the Spanish period to see if enemies or pirates are coming. This tower is standing strong till now and you can climb up to see a very nice view of Vigan and the town of Bantay. Many visitors go here not only to learn the history but also to take pictures with the beautiful old structure and enjoy the peaceful vibes around the area.



San Agustin Church is located in Manila and it is one of the oldest stone church in the country, finish around year 1607 by the Augustinian friars. The church is very famous for it's amazing baroque architecture, large pillars, and detailed ceiling paintings that wow the visitors. People are attracted to this place because it's peaceful, full of religious meaning, and it survived many earthquakes and even war, making it really strong and full of story.




On the other hand, Terraza Pool is for more for nature lovers and people who want to relax. This place is kind of new but already becoming popular for locals and tourists. The pool has clean and cold water that comes from the mountain, perfect for swimming and chilling with family or friends.And also it has upper pool and lower pool and there's a little zoo in there and a coffee shop and more.It's surrounded with trees and nature, which makes the place more peaceful and intagram-worthy.


These 3 places may be different but they all give something good to the people. Bantay Bell Tower gives us history and amazing view. San Agustin Church gives culture, faith and beauty. Terraza Pool gives us fresh air, fun and relaxation. So if your looking for next travel destination, maybe its time to explore Ilocos Sur more cause they offer so much to enjoy and remember.
